Providence Singers Release Ola Gjeilo World Premiere Recording

March 2, 2021

The Providence Singers commissioned Ola Gjeilo to set William Wordsworth's poem "Upon Westminster Bridge" for choir, string quartet and piano. The premiere performance was presented in May 2017 with the composer at the piano. "Westminster Bridge" has not yet been published, so this is the first recording of this work. Providence Singers are delighted to share this new Ola Gjeilo composition with the choral community. Follow this link to the virtual choir video on our YouTube channel.
