OVERVIEW

This position will oversee all branding, marketing and advertising for this internationally-renowned choir.  The Marketing Manager will create and execute marketing campaigns to promote two virtual or live concerts per year, as well as oversee the maintenance of the chorale’s various marketing channels (website, social pages, YouTube

channel, email communications, etc.).  It is a year-round, part-time position, with the majority of the scope of work taking place from September to June. This person will work with a staff of volunteers to develop the campaigns; be responsible for keeping the campaigns on track; ensuring promotional assets are created and launched according to the marketing calendar; and managing campaigns with the Fund Development Committee.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the ACC social media team to ensure a dedicated presence online
  • Maintain the Chorale’s online video library on YouTube
  • Work with the Art Manager to maintain brand integrity
  • Direct Website Team with branding and event updates
  • Work with ACC Email Manager to plan and develop regular emails
  • Maintain Chorale’s library of photo and video assets and ensure coverage of new events
  • Help develop seasonal and evergreen merchandise
  • Promote the mission and values of ACC throughout all marketing and advertising
  • Manage/coordinate with outside publicist

Pursue Google advertising and provide timely analytics as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • BA required; MA a plus
  • Proven experience with arts marketing and promotion

Deep knowledge of social media and analytics

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing YouTube channels
  • Experience overseeing email campaigns
  • Experience with website development and maintenance
  • Experience creating promotional assets
  • Experience producing promotional videos
  • Examples of effective collaboration with volunteers
  • Leadership ability with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to envision and write a marketing plan

Excellent writing and editing skills

Compensation and Benefits: 

Flat Fee $1,500 monthly with an average 20 hours per week

Benefits package includes paid time off

Works from a remote office
